A double-click on the .dmg is enough. A window opens with the Keeti icon
and a shortcut to your Applications folder.
Like any Mac app. You can then eject the disk window and delete the downloaded file.

On first use, Keeti downloads once and for all the models it uses to understand speech (about 480 MB). That is what lets it transcribe without a network afterwards. On a phone hotspot, or behind a heavily filtered corporate network, this first download can take a few minutes.

Download the .dmg, open it and drag Keeti into your Applications folder. The app is signed and notarised by Apple, so macOS opens it without a warning. Later updates are offered inside the app itself.
